Im looking for a hood scoop, i saw some pics of the one Darrin put on his ford cummins and i like that scoop anyone know were i could get it or what its for or how much it cost?

Or if you want to spend a lot more money, get yourself one of those fiberglass hoods with the built in scoop at usbodysource.com

i was thinking, late 70's early 80's mustang hood scoop. should be easier and cheaper to find. http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/timeline/79-86/79/Coupe3.jpg

This is essentially the old Boss 429 Mustang scoop, only not as tall - I have a replica of the Boss scoop on my Lincoln, it's like 3-3/4" tall or something, and IMHO would work much better for these trucks than anything that is only like 2" tall (which is what most Mach 1 and similar scoops are). Can't tell ya how tempted I've been on several occasions to yank that scoop off the Linc and plop it on the dually... MustangsUnlimited used to carry those Boss scoops, like $125 a piece but they have studs in them and they are proven (by me) to hold up over 125mph airspeed :D

to much money for meLOL i got alot of things that i need and want:D i need a starter which brings me to the question will a psd starter work? and also i want the hood scoop i will probly buy me one of them mustang hood scoops and make infunctional:sly i like ram-air, and i need to paint it too:D

and another question what about water:confused: how can i keep water from getting in??
