when it rains i find a puddle on the air cleaner - i assume this is because the hood cowl seal is worn out? is that a dealer part or can it be purchased elsewhere? i have to remove the cowl to replace the wiper motor anyway so it seems like a good time to deal with it.
thanks,
Paul

Sit down when you get the price for it because its rediculous. But LMC Truck carries them. They are like $70 or something close to that.

You can get them from LMC for about $30-$40. If all else fails I have heard of guys making them from the rubber from the bottoms of a garage door.

Make sure the seal on the washer on top of the air cleaner is in good shape until you get the cowl seal. It wouldn't be the first time some one bent a rod from water getting into a cylinder(s) through that opening.

My original air cleaner lid had holes rotted threw it as a result of water geting on it and there was rust stains out of the bottom of the soup bowl. Cant be to good on the valley pan either.
