High and Low sides on A/C

Just to be sure before I proceed any further, the lower pressure a/c port is the one that is directly on the dryer its self???? And the high pressure is the one on the drivers side pretty much right next to the battery? This is standing in front of the looking at the engine.

Yes. The high pressure side will leave the compressor and go directly to the condensor coil in front of the radiator. Stay away from that one for filling.
