Hello oil burners new here

Hi all I'm kinda new here been lurking around for some time. Just pick up my second idi this is a 6.9 turbo with gear vendor overdrive. I was hoping someone here could give me some info on this turbo set up . It's a garrett turbo. I try to attach some pics.

hey Mack.welcome to OBN.good to see you drop us a line.

that there is the optional turbo ford placed on the '93 and '94 turbo engines.it's made by ATS and it's basically the 093 model.
it's biggest downfall is it's crushed downpipe.gale banks makes a downpipe specifically for that turbo and it will help power and EGT's drastically if it hasn't been upgraded yet.

Fwiw, I'm a 6.9 turbo-engine fan & wonder WHY Navistar insisted on making it a 7.3.
(I've owned one, that I bought with 170,000 miles by 2 owners & worried often about cavitation in my 7.3 IDI.)

Hey, same here.

The 450 has a seized up 7.3 in it due to low oil pressure haven't decided yet to part it or not

Geese auto salvage has a few 7.3 in there. No 6.9 though
