Not sure if you saw my post above, Rock Auto has the one with the 90 elbow if you want to do that.

Yes I saw that Bradd, thanks. Not sure how I'm going to go yet--the one that's in there now bends 90 off the block towards the front and then curves up and back again to plug into the heater. I'm not sure if those ones on rockauto are quite right--I'm going to remove the heater and get a better look at the existing hose.

Ah nope I didn't. Just gonna leave it as is since it's not interfering with anything and not leaking.
