Is that a home made circiut or is that an internal diagram for the OEM controller?

One question I have about the original idea, is why he didn't simply use the temperature switch on the front of the engine (the one that controls the cold idle and advance) to act as a temperature interrupter? I did that for my manual glow plugs and it works great.

EDIT: looks like Jim beat me to it.

Gary, when I replaced the AutoShit GP's that were in my truck with the Bosch from UHaul every Key-On cycle would be 15 sec, hot or cold. Needless to say, I installed a pushbutton next day :D

Mine dont cycle at all when its warm......

Mostly because i dont hit the switch... :D



I think i might have to build one of those timers.... Is that for a rock solid 10 second glow?
