Makes sense, aren't you worried about residue I.e. salt, water etc. getting on the terminals?

Some and do want to come up with a way to partially cover the battery. The permatex battery protector and sealer dose seem to hold up well tho on stuff like topkicks that have the batterys under a grating for a step into the cab. Its a messy spray tho and why this thread was made, never tryed it for a ground on a frame.
