GP CLEANING

Hey guys. I've replaced my GP about 4 months ago ZD9's. I've been running about a 50/50 mix of WMO in the rear tank and have been using that on most travles. Anyways I pulled out on of the GP and it had a little white power type substance, I'm taking that as coaking. To I wiped most of it off with a rag and there was a little bit of carbon built up on the GP so I a little bit of fine grit sand paper to get it off. Is that and OK procedure or will the sand paper cause problems to the GP. If that is fine will a wire brush work better, Thanks

Well it depends on the paper grit. I would use a scotch brite pad or something like a kitchen sink dish pad. That coating will not harm the plugs at all...
