got a wheel base question

I am looking into getting myself an old IDI truck but all the ones around here I can afford dont run. I have a 19 foot flat bed trailer to haul with. Does anyone know the wheel bases on a reg cab long bed and ext cab long beds thank you.

i presume you are trying to avoid the 40'OAL rule. if you are concerned about it, a std cab is the only power until that will keep you under 40'.

my main thing is that I want it to safely fit on my trailer I have a my 2008 f350 that I tow with this will just be a project truck I am partial to the ext cab but which ever can fit on my trailer thank you

A reg cab is 133" wheelbase, about 17'9-10" overall legnth, and an ex cab long bed is 155", about 19'8 or so OAL.

I safely fit my '85 F350 CC (long bed) on a 18' trailer. My 16' trailer will haul a standard and extended cab (both long bed), but a CC is really scary on that short of a trailer (It put the front and rear tires all on the very tips of the trailer with the bed behind the rear wheels hanging over the rear of the trailer).
