I know you have done the York Air compressor mod, but I have some questions.

1. What type of fittings did you use to adapt the air hose to the compressor, and if they are exotic, where did you get them?

2. Where did you get the double belt pulley for the power steering pump?

I probably have mire questions, but I want to get an idea since this will be one of my winter projects.

Nick, The PS pulley was on the truck when I got it. I don't have a Part number, but I've been told Ford can get them, or you can hunt in your local scrapyard. Next time I have it off (hopefully not too soon), I'll get the part number off of it.

The fittings are compression fittings, I think I got them from a local Hose/hydraulic place. But, I bet you can get them from Napa if you have a good one in your area. They have catalogs full of fitting for hydraulics, air, compressors. The Yorks where used for years and fittings will be available.

I really should do a write up of the project and track down receipts for part numbers, but time is getting harder and harder to find.

Here are some photos of the fittings and the York:

Sorry I couldn't help more. Again, I'll see what I can scratch up.

The dual sheave PS pulley is a factory part, my 460 truck(86 F250, 7.5L with factory a/c) has one from the factory. My buddy's 85 6.9 has one on it too, non a/c app there.

I'll look at my parts truck and see what it has if you need one?

Another thing to keep in mind........I have a two inch body lift. You may need to lay the York on its side to get clearence without a body lift.

Well, as long as it doesn't tower over my A/C compressor, it should be ok, otherwise I am going to have to get crafty with the mounting.
