Ok, I'm new to this forum, but I am really interested in getting into a diesel truck because I just love them, preferably a dodge. My dad has a 99 2500 5spd and I love to drive it when I get to on occasion. I'm a senior in high school, so money is in short supply and all I have to drive is a 97 Honda Civic (I know, ricer car, but it gets decent mileage.) This truck has been up on craigslist for awhile now and he keeps going down every week. The only problem with it is that its dash is almost completely fallen through how much would a replacement be for that and what would you pay for this truck. Sorry no interior pic, I'm going to look at it on Sunday. Also, what kind of mileage can I expect to get out of it stock, and any programmer, intake, exhaust and what not. I would also like to know the best combo of Intake, programmer, exhaust that would get the best mileage. I know not everyone has tried all combos, but some setups and mileage numbers would be a big help.

The broken dash is a common problem. Here is one solution:

Also if you get a 98.5-2002 24valve, get a fuel pressure gauge!
