How do I test and what ohms should it read? Do I put one lead on the tip of the connector side then one on the block or? Should I take them out? I have the heads off so if that was easier I could do it

Should be less than two ohms, very simple to test in or out of truck: put meter on ohms and one lead to the bullet/spade connector and the other to the body of the glow plug. If they are "open" they are bad. Remember: Beru's only, don't use Autolites.

Good luck

You're rebuilding this engine correct?
Take the injectors out and get a good close up pic of the tip, then post it here. Someone will be able to ID it quick.
