What was the deal with having to modify the trans to run a turbo kit on it?
Im going to be putting the non wastegated ATS kit I have on it eventually and dont want to have any issues with it not fitting with the ZF.
Figure I might as well plan ahead.

There is a large casting block on the right side of the bellhousing that needs to be removed to make way for the up/down pipes. I'd say it's about 1.5" square and sticks out of the bellhousing at about the 2 o'clock position as viewed from the tailshaft of the trans (t-case end if it's 4WD).

There will never be a better time to get it out of the way than while the trans is out of the truck.

Thats what I was wondering.
Yea, no kidding this is the best time to take care of that issue.

Hey you said you have a Supra? What year and what model? The fast one or the slow one? (i.e. twin turbo or not)
