I have a gear vendors "P" model overdrive with a C6 adapter and the special coupler to the trans tailshaft. No electrical but thats all available on ebay or thru Gear Vendors too. This is a spare unit that I have had for a few years. I drained the oil from it and it was clean. No metal in it. Condition is not known but I see and feel no problems with this unit. I'm offering it here for $600.00. Just the adapter alone is over $400.00 thru Gear Vendors and the gv is going to be around $2300.00 if you want a new one without the other parts. I paid rite at $3100.00 for the unit in my rig.. Also know this. Gear Vendors will not sell outrite an adapter but they will take your in trade and charge you around $450.00 for an E4OD adapter. I don't have a cost on the ZF trans adapter incase you wanted a 10 speed trans. The unit I have in my rig makes my total gear possibility at 8 forward speeds.. Kinda nic with that many choices. With my tans in od and the gv in overdrive I'm turning 1800 rpm doung 85 mph with 3:55 gears in the rear end.... I can offer up the serial numbers and you can call gv and ask questions about this unit...

When I called gearvendors, they wanted the old adapter, plus over $800 for a new adapter. Im considering this sale a gift, hopefully someone with a c6 takes advantage of it.

$800.00.... I knew they were expensive but I have not talked with them is a few years... Thats a terrible price. Had I called and talked to them I probably would have upped the price some. We will see how this runs here. I will set a date of close. then it wil be more costly.. I will call GV and ask what the C6 adapter cost is.. Thanks for the update on this interesting information..

Thanks for the tempting offer posting above. All the above seller really needs is my C6 adapter part. And for that he can contact Gear Vendors then trade his E4OD for the ZF that he needs. Otr trade what he has for the C6 that he wants. All the GV will fit any trans. Its just the adapter thats expensive... GV controls the market on the trans adapters. They will "trade" what you have for what you want... And a hand ful of cash to "cover the market". If you don't have an adapter they will not sell outrite to you an adapter. Its a form of market control... Nasty too when they control what you need or want. Money really can't buy everything I guess...
