Would a fuel tank leaking cause me to loose my prime, sometimes truck will start and run 10-20 seconds and quit, then i have to crank and crank to get her going again. I know i have a leaking rear tank when i completley fill it up

Unlikely. Unless it's completely draining.

Nope that's not your issue although it should be fixed, I would look at your fuel lines under the hood for leaks specifically the injector return lines. If you have a leak what's causing the issue. If you don't find a leak up there report back
