does any one know if a fuel pump off an 85 f-150 for a fuel injected 302 thats mounted on the frame will work for a 6.9l diesel , so im wondering if i can put it on my truck and use a fuel pressure regulator:thumbsup: :dunno

That is a high pressure pump. Probably better look for a lower pressure unit.

Correct, '85-'89 302's, '87-'89 300/351w's, and '88-'89 460's have the high pressure frame mounted pump fed by an intank low pressure pump.

When the low pressure pump fails in a gasser, usually the truck doesn't get enough fuel to run as it can't pull the volume needed from the tank.

dang i was hopin i could use that pump insted of the mechanical pump on my diesel, anybody wanna buy a fuel pump? or trade for a holley red
