fuel PSI after pump

ok fellas..gettin ready to hack in for the wvo setup...


whats my fuel pressure AFTER the block mounted pump BEFORE it goes into the filter?? (this is where im gonna cut into it..)...and I wanna make sure I've got the right kinda fittings so it doesnt blow apart/leak...

Should be no more than 7 PSI, but most likely will be around 4 or 5 PSI. Of course with a mechanical pump, it will vary somewhat based on RPM, but never reaching anything that needs much of a fitting. I've seen many with rubber hose and a hose clamp with no problems.

dang....Im used to 60-80psi (I-6 and the BB fords)...

heck...I'll just zip-tie it...LOL

:) Yeah, I'm running a Carter fuel pump that sits at 6 PSI, pretty much all the time, WOT or idle and I've not had a problem what so ever. And I figured it would be much more as well being that the IP makes 2000 PSI or so. I've worked on a few of those high pressure jobs as well, makes me cringe to think of unhooking one!
