I know it is probably here somewhere but I couldn't find it. With the fuel prices on diesel well over 4.00 a gallon, I am curious as to what kind of fuel mileage i can expect highway and around town on my 1990 F250 7.3 dsl e40d auto 4x4. Basically stock. No lift but it does have 33x12.5 tires. I have had the truck over a year now but it has had registration, and transmission issues. I finally am getting it repaired now with a rebuilt transmission so It should be healthy for the first time since I have owned it. Thanks.

Yeah there were at least 3.55 and 4.10s offered with that combo from the factory. Let's assume it's 4.10s, it'll have higher than optimal RPM on the highway but the difference in feul economy around town will probably not be too noticeable. Probably in stop and go traffic you can expect anywhere from 12-15mpg and on the highway at 65 and lower anywhere from 15-20. It's harder to be more specific without knowing a few more things like where the timing is, how healthy the engine and IP are, and your driving style. I see 11-14 in town and 15-17 on true highway trips most of the time but I am running B100 which figures about a 10% energy penalty and a T18(no OD) so you might get a little better than that.

Some get single digits, some get lower 20's, just depends on how you drive, and condition of your truck.

I've seen as high as 24 MPG @ 55 MPH but my truck isn't stock. Lots of short trips in town can nearly cut that number in half if I try hard enough.
