has anyone here modified their fuel lines to "delete" the square o rings? i'd like a regular 3/8" flare fitting or a 3/8" hose barb fitting for my fuel filter and the injection pump inlet, has anyone done this? if so what are you using? i'm doing the fuel system on the scout this week and forgot the post that was up about this. hopefully i'll hear her run by the weekend...... ;Sweet:sly

yea i built one for me and IIRC DIESEL JD, 3/8 gates hydraulic hose with 3/8 JIC fittings on either end and the adapter fittings and viton o-rings to put it all go togather. it worked out quite well, i've been running it for about a year now without any problems

All I can say is tractorman86 does fantastic work, it bolted on and doesn't leak and I trust it much more than the factory rubber doughnut gasket, oh and his price was very fair compared to IH and Ford.

my very own hell
Do you have any junkyards near you? You can grab a bleeder valve off a truck in there. Or maybe a dealer will have one? The fitting on the injection pump I have no idea what it is, Jake will have to chime in with that info.
