three days ago i checked my injectors and found that the #2 was leaking very badly. so i tightened all the lines up and it fixed it for the most part. but i still have a small amount of fuel bubbling out from round the injector.. what could cause this to happen???? and also the truck was smokey very badly before hand but it has died down some since i tightened it up..:dunno

If the compression is pushing past the copper washer on the end of the injector in the head you will need to remove the injector and replace the copper washer. Or loosen the line nut. tighten the injector in the head. then tighten up the line nut and see if that fixs the leak. Usually the copper washer is cut and needs to be replaced. Any good injection pump repair shop has the copper washers or see typ4 or Agnem for them. If you have more than 125,000 miles on the injectors its time for a new set.
