I kinda hate to sell it, but I gotta pay a loan i got to upgrade to a GMC class b motorhome.

Bought in late '23. New parts since then:
- Water pump
- radiator hoses
- heater hoses (rear heat unhooked, but not removed, can be reconnected)
- Thermostat
- Brake booster
- Master cylinder
- All front tie rods+alignment
- Belts
- Front sway bar bushings
- Big ATF cooler, spin on ATF filter too. All new hose.
- Front hitch (had to fab to make fit)

Other stuff it has:
- Rear leaf spring helpers

It has some camping conversion stuff done, like a fresh water tank and grey holding tank for a cold water sink. The water pump I had was used and has died but that's easy to replace. Has some rigged up 12v wiring added inside (easy to remove) if you want to make it into a cargo van. Has a bed with full a size foam mattress, too but that's easy to remove as well. No house batteries are included however, they are going into the GMC.

The good:
Runs great, no known problems at all. Lots of added gauges. BGF KO2 tires with deep tread, 2-3 more years left on then (made in 2019, not dry rotted). Power windows/locks (right window has began to act up not working sometimes, haven't looked into it. Left one works fine)

The bad:

no a/c. missing one line (discharge) that i can't find, but i have everything else to bypass the rear ac and restore the front, except the compressor and the discharge line. parts not installed but included.

Some cracks in the windshield (up high, not in field of vision.

Minor body damage in rear left corner (was there when I bought it)

Asking $4000.

I'll be happy to take more photos and answer questions.

Note: i had a bad egt sender removed in that pic, in the middle of replacing the egt gauge. so that fitting on the turbo manifold isn't just open.

BUMP - still available. Someone backed out of buying it after putting down a non-refundable deposit and not coming back after his 3 weeks granted to pay the balance. He said he bought a pickup instead. Title is still clear, nothing was filled out.

Also price reduced to $3000. I can't edit the above post because it's been too long.

I test drove this van before he bought it, on his behalf. I can assure you it’s a hot rod compared to my NA van. No weird nothing, shifts wonderfully.

At his price, someone is getting a great vehicle for the price.

@Cubey to confirm, but I don’t think the CC works.

I haven't looked into the cruise control but no I don't think it works. I don't trust old mechanical cruise control myself. I disconnect them on IDIs to get rid of one source of possible vac leaks.

You gotta drop that thought and join old Stevie T (Aerosmith) and start living’ on the edge!!!

Cruise Control is the greatest thing since sliced bread!!! It allows you to go the speed limit AND gawk at all those tree rows spyin’ treasure!!!

I used it on my mom's car but it was more digital and wasn't as old.

I tried it on the F250 idi once and it caused the main throttle cable to pop loose. It crippled it down to about 45-50mph. Thankfully I was on a US highway and was able to pull over after a mile or two at an old closed gas station. So yeah I don't try to use these old Ford cruise systems. I unhook it so it can't even be turned on by accident.

Steven Tyler has/had an air-cooled VW dune buggy. A clip showing him driving it:

Glad you found a buyer! Just saw the ad, tempted to have as a second van. Planning to install a 1st Gen Banks kit I picked up.

Do you happen to have a manual for a VAN 1st Gen Banks Turbo installation?

Also, on the turbo UP pipe, is the pipe crimped flat around the dog house wall? It seems like that in your photo, just hard to tell under the heat shield. I got a kit and wonder if this was done after in their attempt to fit in a truck.

Cheers,
