Later this week I should have a D60 front end, more or less complete as to associated suspension bits, coming my way for my 91 F-250HD 7.3. It is out of an 89 f-350 gasser that had the snow plow option--the truck was used as a plow. Both trucks use the reverse arch springs.

My question is which set of springs, other things remaining equal, should have the heavier rating?

Going to be off to the sand blaster man upon reciept!

Thanks.

If you could compare the FAWR (Front Axle Weight Rating) of both trucks, that would give you a pretty good idea. It's probably almost a tossup, I think I'd go with the F350 springs, UNLESS the truck was plowed with a lot, which would sag the springs.

Thanks for the reply.

I tend to agree about the "toss-up" on spring ratings--the GVW on my truck is only 400# less than a F350 with the HD package.

I think the truck got plenty of plowing work--those springs definately got a regular work-out.
