Front axle seal

What all is involved to fix a dana 60 that is leaking gear oil out the axle seal on the passenger side?

This is one of my last major fixes.

remove right side hub,rotor, and splindle. pull shaft out. remove front cover, pull carrier out. hardest part is popping the old seal out and installing new one.

Anyone have a diagram of the dana 60 front axle?

Is there one or two seals on each side?

One seal per side.......... Make sure when you pull your carrier you pay attention to the shims on each side of the carrier. You need to keep the shims exactly the same on each side when you re-install the carrier as when you removed them.

I have gear oil coming from the passenger side front axle about where the axle comes out. What needs replaced?

Well the axle isnt apart yet, is there a way to tell which type I have without tearing it apart?

From what Im being told by someone who was loooking at it says it looks like there are seals on the outside.
