Well, I had to haul my Moms car back to her after fixing a wreck she had. It's about 100 miles each way. Truck performed flawlessly for 185 of those miles. Then, I started noticing the oil pressure getting lower and I could smell burning oil. I quickly pulled the truck over at a gas station to check things out..
This is what I found when I popped the hood.
Turns out, my fitting I used to hook up my aftermarket gauge had broken off in the oil block on the top of the banks turbo. After trying to get the broken piece of fitting out of the oil block, I realized that it wasn't going to happen.
So....
Frustrating when a 75 cent part costs you a 75 dollar tow. On the other hand, Had a great tow truck driver I used to go to church with. The truck also has a nice new coat of oil all over everything. Seriously, everything. Dripping off the back bumper...
