Forum Speed

It seems to me that everything I do on this forum is taking longer than it used to. It doesn't matter whether it's opening the forum, opening a thread, posting, everything seems to be slower.

Admittedly, my computer is old and slow, but other forums are as fast as they always have been. This is the only one which has slowed down. I don't think it's my computer.

Has anyone else noticed this?

FWIW I just went into a thread I don't recall ever having visited in a forum I don't frequent on this site, to make sure I wasn't loading something that wasn't saved in my cache, and it seemed to load normally. Have you dumped your cache recently?

Good thought, Tim. I just ran CCleaner, and cleaned out 312 Mb. I generally run CCleaner in a pretty conservative way, don't get too wild on what I dump. Still, 312 Mb of unnecessary crap.

The forum seems to run a bit faster now, but not as fast as I remember in the past, and not as fast as some of my other forums. Maybe I need to reboot also. That will be in the morning.
