flywheel question.

I found this flywheel on craigslist.

Will it bolt up to my 1993 N/A 7.3 IDI?


I know it wont be as "good" as the correct flywheel, but will it be "better" than a SMF as far as not having any rollover noise?

Are there other factors that must be considered to use this flywheel in my truck?

It is for a powerstroke, no it wont fit an IDI.

The balancing on the stroker flywheel might be different to an IDI flywheel. The gear roll over noise isn't that bad on a SMF, I just did a 5 speed swap and put a 6.9 flywheel, pressure plate, and 7.3 sprung clutch disk. The noise is only noticeable at idle, and when lugging below 1200. I lowered my idle to 500-550 and it has seemed to lower the noise, if I were to rev it back up to 650 the noise increases half again. Hope this helps.
