first time motor pull tips?

I have...pulled many engines, including a few IDI's....Numeral Uno....I pull the front clip when possible! makes life easy!...SO easy...don't pull rad/rad support...a few more bolts that whole clip comes off, rad stays attached! and voila...yer done! all the room you could use!

I do like this idea i read here up this thread...re undo the forward cab mounts....hmm...that just may be an addition to my clip removal next time!

And Oldbull...that's a neat idea for a TS creeper using the engine hoist...gonna take a look at that on mine thanks for that!

That really makes it easier to work on the engine. Made the top part so it will extend 9", can use it on the PSD's and IDI's that way. They sell for around $250, made mine for $38 worth of angle iron. That pillow to lay your chest on is nice and comfortable, no hood latch sticking in your belly, easier on the knees also.
