firewall hole size?

Hello, can anyone confirm if the hole in the firewall right beside the main body plug , driver footwell is 1" or 1.25"?
Need to get a grommet, my foot is freezing!

i misplaced my vernier, and i cant really tell in the postion im in with tape measure! Especially with wires running through it

Q&D: put a piece of paper across the hole and press (tear the paper to allow for the wiring). The diameter will transfer to the paper which you can easily measure. Or, you can just stuff the paper in the hole.

DT...thats some kind of ghetto...honestly if I had some laying around Id do it, but its 5 bucks a roll or 1 dollar for the proper size grommet!
Hole is way too big to fuill with rtv or silicone

For Chri sakes, get both sizes. An 1.125" is larger than a 1" so if the 1" falls thru then it's the 1.125". Toilet paper is easier to crunch up and stuff. OR, cut the wires and use the tape to measure, a yard stick would probably be to long to get under there.

Yeah, but TP is made to fall apart, resulting in a temporary repair, undoubtedly failing after only a week or so, resulting in undue hardship and discomfort during last minute Xmas shopping. Use newsprint or a page out of a magazine, then you don't have to think about it until May.

We sure do but we don't have a big ******** freezing our butts off either.... Sorry.. I just had to post this. I really wish I could tell you what size this hole is but for me to get down under the steering wheel is murder on my back issues. I usually get stuck there and it really hurts.

Anything is better than nothing stuffed into the cold flue. A shop rag will work same as a sock. Just don't use a pair of her underpants. the wives in our lives get really hostile when they see us using this unmentionables for things like that. But I'm safe with this. Seems the wifey does not like some of the shirts I wear so she hides them everywhere around the house. I have found some between the mattress. Some behind doors that never get closed. Stuffed in my pillocase. Under the sink in the buck o rags and in normally not used closets. I can see right thru her poker face too when I find them.

Just thought of this. Greg, next time your GF has her ***** hose off, just throw it in the front seat, then when you get back there you can stuff it in the hole, the hole in the floorboard where the air is coming thru.
