I just recently bought a brand new Stewart Warner pyro. And an autometer thermocouple with a 10'lead. Driving down the road at 55 on flat ground I see between 400-500 consistantly with about 4psi boost just cruisin not pushing it. I located my thermocouple in the up pipe below my turbo. Shot with my raytex and its dead on.

red and yellow, and yes they match,

How are the thermocouple wires connected to the thermocouple extension wires? How are the thermocouple extension wires connected to the gauge?
Just trying to eliminate any possible source that may cause an inaccurate reading.
