Anyone here used a Ferret 765 timing light adapter (see description - www.gxtauto.com/Product_Pages/765/765.html ) ? The street prices are little less than on that website . A neighbor who also has old diesels and I are thinking of buying one to share .

When you consider the Snap-On MT257A lists for almost twice that amount, it would be interesting to try one. Let me know how yours works!

Yea,I use one and they are wonderful.Only problem I have had is when I just loosely install it on the line and then try to tighten it after I start the engine.Doesn't work too good.Found out to tightned it down and crank teh engine.Works about 95% of the time then.I use mine on a Snapon Lumi/Mag 1480 setup for a gasser and works great.
