i have been weighing my options and more and more it seems like its time to part with my old IDI. we have had a lot of good times together but she does a lot of sitting now and i really could use the money. she needs some TLC but is a very solid truck with a lot of potential.

i have been hanging on to it for a couple years now because i have become attached to it but it is taking up space in the barn while my work truck gets snowed on and i really dont have the time and cant justify the money to fix it up.

it needs tires, a wiper switch, and glow plugs (i might fix that before i sell it so it starts easy). i have the roof lights out of it right now because they were leaking which is why the truck is inside. i havent fixed the problem yet it's just one of those things.

the body is good, straight, some surface rust but no holes. tailgate has a few dings. one fuel tank is out of it and the other one leaks. i have a spare radiator and some other parts. frame is solid it kills me to sell this truck.

brakes work good. engine runs great. i hate to sell but it isn't doing anyone any good sitting here.

anyway, what do you think. as if i really need to ask. mods can move this to the marketplace if you must.

Another one bites the dust.......

Its all good, I see your point, why own it when you dont use it and somebody else can enjoy it. Good luck with your sell, hopefully someone on here can snatch it up.

Best of luck to you, just keep on posting here in the basement will ya :backoff :D

If you'd like them to be too busy to move it
I could go to the lounge and cause a distraction. :rotflmao

That truck is cherry! No way I can justify another one though. It shouldn't last long on the market unless you want a real stack of change for it.

If I ever see you hitch hiking, I'll just keep going then. :rotflmao

EWWW, CHEBBY INTERIOR!!!!! :rotflmao :rotflmao :rotflmao

Hey now, thats hitting a little to close to home :D
:D my old Chevelle, my old van, and my old M-B all had tan interiors. I can't stand to look at light-colored interiors anymore...I'm used to the (dark, fortunately) red in my truck, but my first choices would be black or gray. Dark blue would be okay, too...

Rob, I understand your decision to sell. You kept it longer than I thought you would. I can vouch for this truck to anybody who wants to buy it. I've ridden in it, and Rob has taken the best care anybody can give to a daily driver. Is it still wearing the same coat of wax I put on it in 2002? LOL

it could use a buffing out, truthfully it will need a paint job as the hood and roof are faded but it still shines up good. the chrome rims are toast though interior still looks as good as the pic.
