Slippery when wet
Thanks guys, once again you guys were right! The factory temp guage that was indicating that the engine was on the brink of overheating was way off! It went to the "A" in "normal" in about 5 miles at 55 mph and I was afraid to try to move a piece of equip. to a job 100 miles away.
I put in a temp guage, and "T"'d in the fact guage so I could compare. The fact guage at the "N" is at 190 deg., and at the "A" is 210 deg.
So we pulled the backhoe to Charleston (132 miles) and never got over 210 deg. !!!!!!!!
Thanks again, I probobly would havw paid a private hauler if I had'nt installed that new guage.
