Not sure what exactly you're asking...certainly, two-tone paint trucks were common in the '80's; my '84 came from the factory as a two-tone silver and black truck. I've also seen red and white, blue and white, brown and tan, and many others that I can't even think of. Are you trying to find out what choices were available in '86?

Are u asking for tu-tone styles or tu-tone colors?

Generally tu-tone colors were, for example, blue with white in the middle; red with white in the middle; etc. Or brown/tan, black/silver, dark blue, blue, blue/gray, etc.

FYI..... this paint scheme I know was available in the 83, 84, and 86 definitely (we owned an 83, this one is an 84, and Brad's Blue and White one is an 86). This is the Victoria Paint Scheme. Our 83 was the same colors as this on (A "chocolate" metallic brown, and "Light Desert Tan"). We had the window sticker for our 83, which was a special order for the original owner (83 F-150 4x4 LS Front and Rear, 4.10, 351m, C6, Manual locks/windows, AM/FM Radio with the 1 speaker in the dash, Tilt, AC, Dual Tanks, Rubber Floor, Vinyl Seat, Chrome Grill, and Bumpers, but was not a "package", it did not have the Custom/XL/XLT/XLT Lariat above the radio or on the fenders) and in 1983 the Victoria Paint Package was a $1500 Paint option. I have not seen many. I have only seen maybe 2 or 3 in person, and maybe 3 or 4 on here.... IF you search Google for it, you do not find many pictures. This is my favorite paint scheme on my favorite body style truck. If I were restoring on, and had to completely repaint it, I would replicate this paint scheme...... but one think to keep in mind, if you do decide to use the Victoria Scheme, make sure to take a good look at pictures of one that has the paint scheme..... the paint on the doors, around the windows, windshield and hood is not as straight forward as you would think. The paint around the windows is the main part..... there is both the light and dark color around the window......

I really like that scheme. The hardest part is finding the color combos. I'm thinking a red with white but it's hard to find pictures of them to see what would look good and what wouldn't. BTW Nice looking truck oregon96psd

I have only seen 3 different color combos,

The Brown/Tan above

A lighter brown and tan, same as above

Brads Blue and white (White where the chocolate is, and dark blue where the tan is)

And a Red and White (White where the chocolate is, and Red where the tan is)

It seems like the other colors, the light was the main color, and the dark was the lower trim/hood color, the brown was the only one that brown was the main color and tan as the hood/trim

Here are some brochure pics...

Medium brown and tan

Red and White

A Champagne and Brown Super-cab

Color Sheet

Paint Options

A Copper and Tan

There is also a trim tape that separates the 2 colors on the door and top of fenders, and if I remember correctly, it is a 3 color stripe, the 2 body colors, I think ours went from top to bottom tan/brown/tan..... and I think each combo had its own tape.......

One other thing.... this is the sales literature... I have only seen, on a real truck, either with my own eyes, or a picture from an owner is the Brown and Tan (which have been the most common I have seen, ours and 2 others) 1 Red and White, and one White and Blue....... some of the options listed above, I have not seen on a "real" truck.....

So can we confirm that the paint color combo of the pictured Victoria paint scheme above is Wimbledon white and Fawn glow?

I absolutely love that scheme!!!! I'm half tempted to start saving some coin to have that done.....

The available colors in 86 were: Raven black, Dark canyon red, Colonial white, Light regatta blue, Medium silver metalic, Dark shadow blue metealic, Dark grey metalic, Light desert tan, Bright canyon red, Desert tan metalic and Dark spruce metalic.

There were three two tone schemes: Deluxe two tone, which had a different color down the middle of the truck. Combination two tone: Includes the color down the middle and the top and back of the cab, didnt include the front windshield pillars. The third two tone scheme was: Victoria as Justin mentioned and that was as pictured above with the brown/tan truck.
