What lube, ATF or 80w 140 gear oil?

Also, I was told that there's a second fill plug that I'm supposed to check, but I can't find it?

Also, on the E-brake, I need to adjust it, as the e-brake pedal flops more than half way down, before it grabs. Can I adjust that much slack out of it?

ATF for the ZF5
the fill plug is midway up on the driver's side of the trans case.
the fill plug for the park brake is just right above the cast-in bracket for the ebrake cable. BE RELIGIOUS ON CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL OF THIS MONSTER. they think nothing of comitting suicide when the oil level is low and will leave your wallet $900 lighter for a rebuilt. I buy every used parking brake I can get my hands on. yes, the brake adjustment can be done to take up the slack on the pedal. it is done at the brake cable where it attaches to the lever on the parking brake.
