Exhaust on a idi na bus e350

Hey yall. First a shout out to everyone at the idi rally! Not many people, but still cool to see what's out there. Ok.. I'm looking for opinions .
Got to check out no mufflers truck and.. Damn it sounds nice. Love the muffler routing job.
First time over the white mountains with a trailer and found soot all over everything. I'm black, my clothes are black.. My wife is now agreeable to an exhaust reroute.
But where? Side? Up?
A stack could be cool.. Chrome? Black? I plan on keeping the muffler though.. Do like the quietness, unless....
Any ideas?

Yup, that's a problem pulling a trailer with a diesel. Start lugging that engine and what ya get is BLACK SOOTY SMOKE.

There ain't no way to reroute the exhaust to keep soot off the trailer. Spray down all those sooty clothes with Purple Power before washing, super stuff for removing soot and diesel grease. Spray the trailer with it, then hose down.
