Yeah, I found an Ebay kit for $240. Best I could find on a kit. Unfortunately I need the muffler to pass and I can't register the truck as classic. In PA the code says it needs to be driven "1 mile or less per day" for the classic, antique, or vintage registration. Also, it has to have a muffler per visual inspection. My Crew Cab works for a living so I am gonna have to bite the bullet I think....

put the muffler on a 3 bolt exhaust flange, then make one with a straight pipe as well. 6 bolts and its back in.

Or just a straight through muffler.
Not like it's gonna pull any power, nor affect mileage.
If anything make it more stand able to drive.

Thanks for the tip. I saw a few of those online. It just needs to look like a muffler and not have visible leaks to pass. Should be a lot cheaper than a standard muffler too.

The stock straight through muffler on my psd is 3.5" well actually it's off my brothers 96.
Little more bulky than what was originally on my truck.
Look into someone going straight pipe that had the banks exhaust on their idi.

Some day, when I have time, I want to install a PSD exhaust system on my truck and get rid of the 4-inch system I have. I dyno tested a 3-inch system and the 4-inch system and there was essentially no difference in power output, just noise output. My hearing is shell shocked enough from the military and loud engines that I really appreciate a quiet system. I'd really like to hear firsthand, better yet see pics, of how the PSD exhaust adapts to a Bullnose truck.

I've got a custom home-brewed setup that punkmechanic built for me: a Hypermax dp to a 3.5" 6.0 liter section that's about three feet long, and then the remainder is 5" that's about four feet long. It exits right in front if my rear passenger tire. It sounds awesome!
One of these days I need to post a video.

id do it with marmon V band flanges. quicker, no threads, leak free every time.
