I purchased a 4 place enclosed snowmobile trailer and it sits about 9 feet tall... And even though it has a wedge in front, it blocks some major wind.... And I never knew how well my truck pulled it until we hooked it to my friends f250, then my other friends 1500 dodge... I did not expect the 1/2 ton dodge to do well... with a 318 and all.... and it fell on its face.... 55 was max.... The f250 was running crazy rpm's to go over 65..... And we were not even bucking that much wind......
Granted I can tell that there is a wind resaistance at 65, I have no trouble running 65 to 80 staying in 5th and feeling comfortable.... Gotta love the diesel....
I really think any of the big three diesels will pull this just as well as my chevy, this thread is not to brand bash.
