Decided to ditch the muffler.

Put on a glasspack I had lying around and made a side exit. Doesn't sound bad at all too me, Better than I thought it would. Feels like I picked up a few ponies up top, Pulling hills a little quicker than It did before.

I like it. sounds very nice. Its tempting me to try something similar until I have enough $$ for a Banks kit. just don't want something too obnoxious...

Love it! Got a dual setup like that, sounds pretty much the same. Quiet at an ildle, Dull rumble on the interstate, and a holy terror when you get on it.

I put dual 2 1/2 inch exhaust with glasspacks on my Bronco. Love it! Not too loud unless I get the rpm's up there.

Thanks guys, Took it out for a little more testing this evening. Definite power increase, Not much but it's there. Not loud at all when normally accelerating just a little rumble, No change in the noise at cruise, Sounds mean as hell when you stand on it. Overall I'm very pleased considering all I got in it is a little welding wire. I will probably keep it as is till I get a turbo.

I have a Cherry Bomb on my 7.3. Came that way when I bought it. Side exit pass side behind tire. Sounds sweet, but I don't know how long it is going to last behind a diesel..
