Dash Bezel

Anyone have a dash bezel and radio bezel that has no hole in it, and is not broken any? I searched many junkyards and have had no luck!!! I need one that has the glow plug light/water/engine temp light or what ever is in it, and for the radio bezel dont care if it says XL or XLT but has to have radio, heat/ac, and the cutout for the clock...Sorry for posting this on here but im desperate. The one i have now is all purple looking and broken all over and keeps falling out when I hit bumps...The one I would prefer is the wood grain looking one...Thanks

Sure Doug, as long as its not cracked and all faded like mine. Do you remember if it had the radio/hvac, and clock cutouts?

No idea, I saw the tach and just pulled it out. I can stop by in the next couple of days and see what they have.

Thanks Doug, just let me know, man I wish LMC or Dennis Carpenter mass produced these like everything else, that and dash pads, the things that always go wrong no one can replace. Well let me know when you get there.

All the Diesels they have around here, well the 4 Ive ever seen are 87 and on and the 86 I found looked like someone kicked the radio bezel. Damn Kids!!!

Dennis Carpenter has Ford tooling to make these finish panels. I called them several years ago to see if they had any for '83-'86 diesels. They said they were planing to "make a run" of them. But, it is a big ordeal to change their manufacturing facility to make these different parts. The last catalog they have currently on their website it the 2007 edition. They list several, but they all say "coming" where the price should be.

Might give'm a call or email and see..........they may have hundreds of them now.

Well I checked out all the online places I could find, with no luck. So I guess its going to be one of those hard to find parts. Well If anyone can get one tell me a price and pictures.

I wasn't able to get by the wreckers last week, but I should be near there this week.

Ryan, saw a nice bezel at the wreckers, same color as yours, should be less than $20. The center piece looked ok, but the top mounting tabs that the screws go into aren't very good. There were also a few all black ones in decent condition.

Dang I was looking for ones that was no broken at the tabs, thats my complaint with mine, I would like to get the one that dont have the purple color to it, more like a wood grain, Ill have to look on here and see for an example. Was the tabs broken? How would they be to fix? I might buy it but IDK right now Id like to see a picture of it if you can next time you do to the JY?

The dash bezel looked near perfect, just the center piece for the radio had the cracked parts. The wood grain was very nice (I did see one of the purple ones too!). I'll see if I can download some pics from my phone later, hopefully they come out OK.
