Have a rolling chassis from a 92 Dodge 3500 4x4 with a Cummins. Truck has 130,000 miles. Believe it has a dana 60 front and 70 rear 3.54 ratio. Some interior parts are available - dash, door panels, gauge cluster, door glass both sides, wing windows etc.

I'm keeping the Cummins. It's not for sale at this time.

Any pics of the truck? Is it complete? Do you have a title for it?

No pics right now. What are you interested in? I may be able to get pics of whatever you're interested in. I have pretty much the parts listed plus I forgot about the trans and transfer case. No the truck is not complete. Rolling chassis and misc interior parts.

Is this chassis a DRW ??

Is it a "cab-chassis ton" or a "duallie/pick-up" (this is important, as the rears are two different widths)

All six wheels in decent usable shape, as in not all warped and twisted ??

Do you know for an absolute fact that the ring/pinions are 3:55s by actually counting teeth, or just taking the previous owners word on that ??

Probably 9 of 10 4x4 Dodge/Cummins came with 4:10 rears and a 4x4 with 3:55 is a rare bird indeed.

Thank you.

It's a single wheel. I guess maybe it's a 350 then? I don't know how the dodges are labeled.

Tag on the rear dif says 3.54??

1st Gen. Dodge/Cummins trucks are year-models 1989 to 1993.

The best ones of all are the NON-I/C engines prior to 1991.5 = better turbo set-up, larger injector housings, and by far the best fuel-mileage achievers of the bunch.

Mid-year 1991.5 brought the addition of an inter-cooler, along with an O/D in the automatics, along with a change in the turbos that brought about the nick-name "lagmaster".

All 89-93 Dodge/Cummins 4x4s, both SRW and DRW have a genuine king-pin Dana-60 front-axle and a genuine New Process NP-205 transfer-case.

The 3/4-ton D-250 and W-250 SRWs have a "hybrid" Dana-70 rear that is not really a true 70, but shares some portions with the old 60s.

The 1-ton D-350 and W-350 DRWs all have the real deal Dana-70.

Available ratios were 4:10s, 3:55s, and in the earlier 3-speed automatics several even have 3:07s.

What is the asking price ??

Whole rolling chassis package with trans, transfer case and axles asking $1200. Condition of trans is unknown but think it's just low on fluid. We drove this truck on the trailer. Truck sat the past 2 years.

Front 60 alone $750
Rear 70 alone $450

Call my brother-in-law John at 414-587-7255 with any questions. This frame will be stripped, cut up, and junked and the axles, trans and trans case taken to the local swap meet the end of this month. If there isn't any commitment or money put down by April 18 (maybe sooner:dunno), you'll find the stuff at the Jefferson Swap Meet.

I suggest if you are interested in any parts off this please call him ASAP. It's in the shop taken up space and the gas axe is darn near lit.:D:D
