I don't mind the hijacking of my thread...actually I encourage it , but back to the topic on hand...
It's been two days since the replaced pulleys, tensioner and serpentine belt have been replaced and my truck actually runs better. The old tensioner didn't keep the belt as tight as the new one and as a result my water pump is running more efficiently. On my water temperature gauge the needle used to climb as far as "M" on the N-O-R-M-A-L scale when climbing hills with my turbo whining as well as cruising at 70 mph on very hot days. Now it plateaus at between N & O no higher and yesterday it was 96*. The truck seems to have more power as well. Damn I love my truck.
