cummins swap brakes

for my cummins swap in my dually i just tied the vacuum line into the vacuum pump on the motor. then just got to thinking that it may not be adequate? any thoughts? i do have a hydroboost unit but for times sake i was hoping this way would be ok. at least for now.

Yup that will be just fine, That is how it is set up on Droopy and Big Ed,..

That is all ford used for years ... all the eighties diesels had a belt drive vaccum pump that powered the vrake booster and all the heaterand a/c controls and even the earlier dodge cummins had regular vac booster in them ...
