I swapped in a tilt/cruise wheel, hooked everything up, jump the brake cutout switch, and currently am not getting cruise.
The horn works.
Truck previously did not have cruise, but was told get the button pad, and you're good to go.
My center mount brake light is not coming on, don't think it ever did, don't even know if it's actually hooked up. Going to replace the bulb tomorrow and see if that fixes it.
Also going to check the clutch switch.
Anything else to look at?

Test the speed sensour. That went bad on my truck, frying the t-case speedo gears. Plus, cruise no worky LOL

An ohmmeter across it should read at around 180-240 Ohms. 0 or inf. signals bad sensour.

Only one I have is in the rear.(94)
I have noticed my speedo is slightly bouncy sometimes.
I'll pull it and make sure there's nothing on it.

But to update, I've checked wiring, replaced the 3rd brake light, and still no cruise.

Ive always been told that you have to put the horn pad and a fuse in them to get cruise, nothing about jumping a switch. Check the fuse panel and see if theres a place for a fuse?

Edit: Looked it up on powerstroke.org and you should be good to go. Don't know where I got the idea about the fuse.

Just to update, when I was having the no start problems, I found a fuse to be blown. Was for cruise and a few other things. Went on my way heading to elpaso, got like halfway there or more and just randomly decided to try the cruise, works great. Lol
I was certain I had checked it before. Who knows.
Also I just have the brake pressure switch (at the master) jumped since mine doesn't have it, and the brake cutout works fine also.
