cross over pipe and manifold studs

down pipe fell of my 94 turbo idi with modified exhaust housing. the clamp between crossover to down pipe bracket broke, and while making a new one i think the manifold studs to the crossover pipe are bad. think i got an exhaust leak since turbo not whistle like it use to.

does anyone know where to get new ones or how to replace them?

Check to make sure the pipe flanges aren't rusted through.
You could probably get the studs from a parts store. Or ford.

do you need studs or can you use bolts like grade 8

www.mcmaster.com has all kinds of studs.....standard, metric, fully threaded, partially threaded, etc.

I suggest you use brass nut when you make the repairs. Brass doesn't rust and will be much easier to remove in the future should you have to. Mcmaster also has them.

7/16-14 is the thread size. I used all thread cut down to 4 inch lengths
