Clutch probs?

Ok we replaced the clutch slave cylinder and all about amonth ago and it shifted fine and dandy am now I can barley get it in gear when I'm stoped or tryin to down shift and when I start it with the clutch in it'll roll forward or back dependin on which gear I have it in.and my pedal only comes half way up then it'll pop up but the clutch doesn't engage till it's all the way in.ill probley have to get a pic of it for y'all to know what I mean it's a 86 f250 with a 4speed

check pedal assembly for any bad bushings or broken mounts,

Check clutch pedal cross shaft arm for worn pin and worn eye on master cylinder

Check firewall for flex

It hopefully isn't a worn eye on the master cylinder cause it's brand new

I'll chev all that when I get the truck bak tommorrow or I'll try atleast I really don't know how to check that

And I forgot to say but sometimes when it gets to were it won't shift the pedal when it sticks halfway down it pops when it finally pops up.but the clutch isn't engaged when it's stuck halfway

press cluch pedal by hand while holding a flash light...watch how it all works up under dash and see if it's got a lot of play in the cross shaft bushings..or maybe the pedal assembly is worn out...you can wiggle ***** around and see if it's working righ.
I've seen broken pedal assembly brackets and that does similar to what you describe.

New MC is good but how was pin that eye connected too? WORN???

Fixed it.the dadgum slave master cylinder didn't get bolted on very well and was pushin out when you pushed on the clutch .shes all fine an dandy now

cool beans! One thing that is often overlooked on the T-19 installations is regular maintenance of the TOB. That sucker needs to be lubed periodically and the input shaft sleeve cleaned.

Mel, can either/both these be done by removing the fork, with the tranny in place?

I recall seeing a TSB with a procedure for putting a zerk fitting on the outside of the BH, and a tube leading from the zerk to the TOB, to conveniently lube it. Wish the PO had done that with my truck when they installed the reman engine (oh well....).
