I'm trying to figure out how the engine and tranny have 30,000 miles difference between mileage since they were both redone two years ago.:dunno

Well the guy is from Gillette Wyo, I worked out there myself and I must say those folks definitley are not the sharpest tools :rotflmao The "Programer" is probably a pocket calculator that's attatched to the dash via bailing wire lol

Sad, but it is so damn true! I had a classmate in highschool that moved here from Wyoming. He drove an oldsmobile minivan that had the doors wired shut with baling wire. The hood was mashed down and BOLTED to keep it from flying open. Plywood covered the back window that had been broken out. Most ghetto/redneck thing I have ever seen. Oh and it was also straight piped. :rotflmao
Can't bash him too hard though, he was one of the nicest guys you would ever meet that would give you his own shirt off his back to help ya.

I just sent out an email asking him to address the 2 points: Why does he claim it has a powerstroke engine and a programmer? And why the difference in miles on the engine/tranny?

That must have inspired him to cut the B.S. in his ad because none of those claims are there any more. LOL

:***:So i got bored today and called him. He told me that the IDI was a powerstroke and that he had powerstroke injectors in the IDI engine and had swapped in a powerstroke crank. and that the programmer was for the powerstroke turbocharger and wastegate. He also said its a Tremec 5 spd transmission that he had custom built to handle the extra power from his powerstroke. and honestly I know most of my IDIs dont pull like a champ. They pull to get the job done, but i get passed by powerstrokes, duramax's and even 12v cummins on hills when I am towing. :(
