Allright, I tried to search for it, but no dice. Where is the cheapest place to get Beru Glow Plugs? I bought my last set of plugs from MWFI under the pretense that they were Beru ZD-1A's but the plugs I got were Wellman's. I just tested my plugs and 6 show an open circuit and 2 were showing 2 ohms. I need some new plugs.

Sunday it was 55 degrees and it took 10 minutes and a hairdryer stuck in the intake to get my truck to fire off. That's not going to cut it as it gets colder, so lets if anyone has an outlet that will keep me from dropping a fortune at the stealership, I would appreciate it!

Is ten bucks a pop the going rate? I paid $6.00 for my wellmans, but they have survived right at 12 months...

Nick, how badly do you need them? I need to order a few ZD9's and I could probably get away with ordering a few ZD1A's from my supplier. But Im not sure if he's going to let me get them at the rate Iv'e been getting them at.

PM me and I'll see what I can do.

hmmmm. do I just have too much money?

I priced some out at the Ford dealership today - motorcraft (Beru?) for $23.87 each. seems reasonable to me for a fairly sophisticated part that ensures reliable cold starting.....

This is in Canada, BTW,,,,

Well, I got one of the dead ones out no problem, very slight deformation, but no bind. Haven't tried the others and I haven't driven the truck or tried to start it since I did it with the hair dryer. I hope the others won't be deformed, but I'll have to see when I get some new plugs to put in.

Sean, I'll shoot you a PM shortly...
