What are the pros and cons of CERAMIC front disc brake pads for my 1985 F-350.

I have a wholesaler that has them at a real deal.

They are slotted, chamfered, powder-coated, and thick.

My truck could use a set of front pads.

Should I try, or pass on by??

Thanks.

Slightly higher pedal pressure, not bad by any means is the most noticable difference. There is virtually no brake fade with them and virtually no brake dust. I like em and run em on everyting. Good rotors are important. Use good resurfaced rotors or good new rotors. I'll even cut new rotors sometimes just to be sure they are true.
