Centerforce clutch?

i put the dual friction in my 84 with the straight six and 4 speed,i loved it.
less pedal effort and great holding power for pulling and pushing the 8 foot fisher blade.
the only bad thing i can think of it was painted chevy orange

COOL!!! I wouldn't put anything but a South Bend Clutch behind a diesel, especially if you want to tow, sled pull or drag race.

guys i have no clue if centerforce offers a clutch kit for the LUK setup,for that i think a call to centerforce is in order.
Exekiel69,the reason ceramics will eat the flywheel is because the ceramic is harder than the flywheel,if you are not slipping the clutch you should have no problem,you should see some of the flywheels that come out of the old 4WD stiegers and IH's,they are so heat cracked and discolored from starting those heavy loads it's amazing they dont fly apart.

so after 3 years any further excperience? i was looking for a HD Performance clutch, the centerforce was ther only one i found listed at the auto store. i wanted something that'll grab good and solid, i was thinking kevlar but found nothing.is the centerforce the way to go or is there another brand?

Ceramics are great for heavy loads.... but you will pay a price in wear and tear on your flywheel, pressure plate and your left knee 
These days it's pretty hard to beat Kevlar, you can get the grab advantages of ceramic without the wear and you don't need near the clamping force that ceramic needs, so your left knee will thank you.
I got a rebuilt LUK clutch set lined with Kevlar from Ft Wayne Clutch real reasonable

I'm pretty sure South Bend Clutch has clutches for the IDI even though they don't have them listed on the web. Might be just stock stuff though. I got my Kevlar pilot bushing from them. Still gotta do that auto-manual swap.

No worries Al. Ask anyone that has a SB clutch
and you won't hear of any complaints from them.
If it does fail, Peter will take care of you. I have yet
to see another company stand behind their product
like those guys do. When mine wears out it will be
replaced with another SB con oFe.
