How prevalent were the cab n chassis 4x4s? I just picked one up today and was wondering if there was anything special about them.
I figured that the rear rims were different to accommodate bigger tires.
It has a rebuilt tranny, rebuilt tcase, new pistons and rings, fairly new tires, new injectors and a rebuilt injection pump.
I almost had it primed up and started tonight but my batteries died before I could get all the air out. So Ill have to try again tomorrow.
According to the tag, it had an f5 axle which appears to be a 4.10 ls rear. The 60 front also appears to be in good shape. The only thing missing is the front driveshaft which the guy found after I left so Ill probably pick it up a little later.
Ill probably end up parting it out, I just needed the tranny to trade to my buddy for the rebuilt auto in the other dually 4x4 I picked up from gainsville.
Hopefully Ill get some pics tomorrow.
